Tuesday's Children seeks an experienced, outgoing and creative events manager to capitalize on and strengthen fundraising efforts, with an emphasis on both internal and external events. The appropriate candidate will be a self-motivated, high energy person with demonstrated experience with fundraising events and will have a primary responsibly for cultivation of sponsors and event logistics.

Responsibilities:

Administration and Planning:

Manage and oversee all fundraising events and activities, including Annual Galas, golf events, Virtual 5ks

Manage endurance fundraising including NYC Marathon, London Marathon,etc.

Develop and manage event budgets

Represent the organization at events and meetings, conferences, community meetings, and related

events where appropriate

Collaborate with team members to produce newsletters, brochures, web site and social

media communication pieces to raise organization’s visibility

Provide ongoing communication to all stakeholders to advance objectives

Participate in Tuesday's Children's programs and always represents organization in best light

Skills/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required

3- 5 years demonstrated experience in event management

Ability to interface with all constituents to further organization mission

Strong oral and written communication skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Strong Social Media skills

Knowledge of Raisers Edge

Ability to work in a fast-paced, small office/remote environment

Self-starter with ability to keep on task to meet program deadlines

Ability to deal with delays or unexpected events that change priorities
