Description

University Behavioral Associates (UBA) at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York is seeking a dedicated and organized Psychologist (licensed or limited permit), or LCSW/LMHC (must be licensed) with experience in social services to serve as a Supervisor for multiple programs funded by the NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS).


The Court Ordered Supervision (COS) and Multi Systemic Therapy (MST) programs are community based, family centered programs that works closely with parents, children, and providers in order to ensure a strong, effective collaboration that supports families in focusing on child safety and well-being, as well as improved family functioning.


Supervisors will be responsible for conducting group and individual supervision to promote client engagement and positive outcomes, providing direct training to staff, reviewing assessments and treatment/service plans, ensuring all documentation is consistent with organizational requirements, and participating in training, supervision, and consultation activities.

 

 The ideal candidate would be organized and strengths-based, with a strong clinical background and comfort interacting with the Court system. Evening and/or weekend availability may be required at times, and Supervisors must be able to provide periodic on-call 24-hour coverage.
