Description

Red Wiggler is a sustainable (Certified Organic) farm where people with and without developmental disabilities come together to work, learn, and grow healthy food. We accomplish this through • A Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program that provides fresh, locally-grown produce. • Meaningful employment for adults with developmental disabilities. • Educational and service opportunities for youth and adults. • Environmental stewardship.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, responsibilities include:


Development:

Grants administration and two annual appeal letters, database management using CiviCRM, managing acknowledgement process. Regular interactions with contractors to assist with development and implementation. Works closely with Executive Director and our Board Development Committee.


Communications

Coordinating all aspects of technology based communications including web site (WordPress), social media and e-newsletters. Experience with graphic design software a plus.


Events

Annual Farm to Fork dinner, Annual Harvest Celebration and Silent Auction, other activities as they develop which may include smaller “friend raising” events, 5% Days at Whole Foods and other corporate supporters.


Qualifications:

Very strong organizational skills, written skills and attention to details

Fluency in database management and ability to use data effectively

High level of competency with technology
