current and next generation of leaders. CiviCO's mission is to inspire,

develop, and activate diverse leaders who elevate our community. Always bold in

Our core

programming focuses on adults who are purpose-driven individuals across

multiple sectors with robust leadership experience. We seek to engage

individuals who bring knowledge, perspective, and insight to the leadership

roundtable. Programs help participants amplify their impact and leverage their

leadership experience toward a better Colorado. 

Through a strategic partnership with Colorado Young Leaders, our team

also seeks to inspire youth (ages 13-18) to make a difference and create

positive change through inclusive leadership.



 



Between the

two, our leadership practitioners are individuals who seek connection to peer

groups that are passionate and intent on serving their communities, the state

of Colorado, and wherever life takes them. Our leaders carry a "we-over-me"

approach to their life and work, regardless of age and experience. As a result,

our program stakeholders are lifelong leaders, changemakers, and learners whose

impact will ripple across our communities, state, and nation for generations.





Position Summary



Are you a purpose-driven, community-centered leader with strong relationship-building

skills passionate about helping others amplify their potential? Do you possess great

pride for the state of Colorado and believe that everyone can be part of

helping our state thrive?  In this role,

you will utilize your program development and execution knowledge to lead the

success of CiviCO's adult leadership programs. 

As the Director of CiviCO Programs, reporting to the Executive Director,

you will:



·        

Have primary responsibility for the delivery and overall success

of the Governors Fellowship Program, a leadership program for experienced

private, nonprofit, and public sector leaders charting a journey to public

service.



·        

Manage the ongoing development and program relaunch of the

statewide CiviCO Leadership Academy.



·        

Assist in designing and launching the new Colorado Collective

Program, a leadership development program for early-career rising leaders.



·        

Manage the cultivation and engagement of CiviCO's community of

alumni.



·        

Support the overall success of the CiviCO team in inspiring,

developing, and activating community-centered leaders.



  Main Roles &

Responsibilities



Colorado Governors Fellowship

Program (60%)



•   

Program-specific responsibilities include project management, budget development and oversight, and strategic planning.



•   

In collaboration with the

Executive Director, lead aspects of the Colorado

Governors Fellowship program,

including but not limited to coordinating speakers for monthly sessions,

set up day-of room materials, coordinate catering,

and assist with the annual

commencement/induction celebration,

and organizing program components associated with Governors Fellows shadow

sessions and capstone projects.



•   

Serve as a liaison between

CiviCO and the Office of the Governor and Governor's Cabinet.



•   

Lead coordination and relations for the

program's Curriculum Committee.



•   

Lead an inclusive recruitment and selection process

in collaboration with Boettcher Foundation, CiviCO's



community partner.



•   

Oversee the budget

for the Colorado Governors Fellowship program.



•   

Serve as a resource to Colorado Governors

Fellows (current participants and alumni) as they explore

civic engagement opportunities.



•   

Lead Governors Fellowship alumni

relations through the coordination of the Governors Fellows Alumni

Steering Committee.



•   

Enthusiastically speak about the mission

and vision of the organization to potential Fellows

and Members.



 



Colorado

Collective (20%)



•   

Assist the Executive Director in the design, launch, and strategic

execution of the new Colorado Collective program. (Launching in 2022)



•   

Build strategic relationships with Colorado companies to build

awareness, support, and participation in the program.



•   

Onboard and build engagement with individual participants,

including leveraging the program skill-building platform.



•   

Plan and successfully execute participant events and service

opportunities in collaboration with the CiviCO team.



 



CiviCO Leadership Academy (10%)



•   

Program-specific responsibilities include project management, budget development and oversight, and          strategic planning toward a 2023 program

launch.



•   

With the Executive Director, work with McKinsey & Company and

McKinsey Academy, CiviCO's thought partner, regional partners, and other volunteer committee members to coordinate

curriculum and execution of nine-month leadership program.



•   

Lead 2023 recruitment and selection process and develop new relationships and recruitment strategies for all lenses of diversity (including, but not limited to:

gender, age, race, ethnicity, political affiliation, geography).



•   

Develop a strategy for alumni engagement and execute /activities

for all McKinsey Academy @QF/CiviCO Leadership Academy alumni.



 



CiviCO-wide support/Community

Leadership (10%)



•   

Form and maintain

meaningful and productive partnerships with leaders

in the City of Denver

and the State of Colorado, including public servants,

elected officials, and other government sector leaders.



•   

Be willing to assist Executive

Director and Events

lead in high-impact

programs such as the

Colorado Governor's Citizenship Medal Celebration.



•   

Opportunity to work with Executive Director to identify

local and national

fundraising strategies and opportunities.



•   

Assist with grant proposals from corporate, family, and private

foundations for CiviCO programs, including the

Colorado Governors Fellowship

and CiviCO Leadership Academy.



•   

Perform administrative duties as assigned to ensure CiviCO/ Club CiviCO is

a thriving community hub.



•   

Other duties as assigned.

Work Hours:



Monday - Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, with some evenings and

weekends required. Some travel is required

within Colorado.



 



Position

Type: Full-time/Regular



 



Compensation:

Starting

annual salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 with bonus opportunity and

commensurate with depth of experience and overall qualifications. Benefits are

competitive.



 



Required Qualifications:



•     Bachelor's

degree.



•     Valid

driver's license.



•     Minimum

3-5 years of program management experience or leadership development experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication.



•     Experience

working with leaders across sectors. Demonstrated ability to work with a

variety of stakeholders.



 



Working

Conditions: Must be able to travel efficiently to offsite meeting locations

throughout the state and travel out of state as needed. The position requires

frequent evening and some weekend               work. Parking pass provided.
