Description

Operations Coordinator


Small, community nonprofit investigation office and resource center with flat organizational structure seeks a vibrant, responsible, logical Operations Coordinator to join our team. Flexible schedule, either part-time or full-time. 


Responsibilities:

-Bookkeeping using Quickbooks Online

-Monitor finances, and and collaborate with tax accountant

-Run payroll and update holiday and paid time off for staff.

-Pay bills, deposit payments, and keep track of expenses

-Generate and submit direct service invoices

-Maintain organizational and personnel records including timesheets, payroll, and bank accounts, insurances, etc.

-Diligent, dogged, determined follow up with court and government agencies for payment

-Office Management: Oversee maintenance of office, keeping a well stocked office environment

-Keep things running smoothly by being available for administration questions when team is in the field

-Communicate with clients and provide client care support

-Attend staff meetings 

-Contribute to non-hierarchical operations of nonprofit


Desired Qualifications:

-Organized, thorough, detail-oriented

-Experience with Quickbooks online, non-profit bookkeeping 

-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Google applications and Quickbooks Online

-Strong writing and communication skills

-Fundraising accounting and invoicing for direct services experience
