These business operations support our commitment to sourcing local ingredients, celebrating the bounty of New Mexico, providing good jobs, and generating revenue for Three Sisters Kitchen’s community programs.

    Three Sisters Kitchen is seeking a full-time Kitchen Associate / Cook to support daily operations in the kitchen of prepared foods sold under the social enterprise program. This full-time position is 40 hours per week Tuesday through Saturday.

    Kitchen Associate responsibilities include preparing food for our wholesale burrito, concessions, and catering operations, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen during production, and organizing and cleaning storage and shared-use areas.

    The right candidate will be punctual and possess strong multitasking abilities and communication skills. This position reports directly to the Chef and assistant manager. We are looking for someone interested in helping us build a successful social enterprise operation that serves our mission and celebrates the bounty of New Mexico!

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Preparing large batch recipes to the quality standards of Three Sisters Kitchen as directed by the Chef.
    • Operating the dish machine and hand-washing dishes as needed.
    • Removing trash and recycling to dumpsters.
    • Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen including sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning equipment, and cleaning bathrooms.
    • Cleaning and maintaining the organization of food and equipment storage areas.
    • Cleaning and maintaining common areas including locker room, bathrooms, office areas, and classroom.
    • Attending catering and other community events as needed.
    • Representing the values of TSK.
    • Attending organizational meetings and events as required.

    Requirements:

    • Willingness to work Tuesdays-Saturdays 6 AM-2 PM
    • At least 1 year of professional cooking or dishwashing experience preferred but not required
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to work on feet up to 8 hours/day
    • Self-starter & team player
    • Willingness to comply with TSK COVID policy, including on-site masking and proof of Covid vaccine
