Humanim has an exciting job opening for the Evidence-Based Supported Employment Program Manager, Howard County! This position is responsible for operational oversight of the Evidence- Based Supported Employment Program, which assists individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses with obtaining competitive employment in their community. The position will: 1. Provide oversight to the program staff including the quality of job development and job support services, 2. Build and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders including the Department of Rehabilitation Services, Howard County Workforce Development, Howard County Mental Health Agency, employers, clients and mental health providers and, 3. Manage program processes and resources to meet department and agency goals, 4. Ensure on going compliance with the fidelity of the IPS evidence-based practice, CARF accreditation standards, and COMAR. Candidate must have experience in program development and strategy planning and must be able to build trusting relationships, think critically, problem solve, manage multiple responsibilities and work autonomously.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred, in psychology, social work, nonprofit or business administration, or related field required. Current Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner, or Graduate Level Clinical license is a plus. 3 years of relevant professional experience. 3 years of supervisory and management experience preferred (2 year required). Candidate should have experience in behavioral health and psychiatric rehabilitation. As well as be knowledgably of the concepts of recovery and person-centered/strength-based approaches to developing professional partnerships with individual’s served. Additional experience in workforce development and/or vocational rehabilitation is a must. This includes knowledge of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model of supported employment, its implementation, and fidelity requirements. Demonstrate the ability to assess client’s strengths and needs. Knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations. Knowledgeable of the WIOA and the Public Mental Health System in Maryland. Must have a valid Maryland driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle.
