Northeast New Jersey Legal Services (NNJLS) seeks a Community Engagement and Relations Manager to develop and implement effective outreach strategies; cultivate strategic partnerships with community-based service providers and other organizations; and coordinate community legal education programs. The individual will also manage the organization’s website, publications, messaging and external communications channels. A college degree, relevant experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The successful candidate will be well-organized, detail-oriented, technologically proficient, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with marketing and new media technologies is a plus. Familiarity with legal services, public interest programs, and non-profit organizations preferred.

Northeast New Jersey Legal Services is a non-profit public interest law firm with over 70 employees providing free legal services to low-income, senior and disabled residents of Hudson, Bergen and Passaic Counties, New Jersey. NNJLS’s highly experienced and dedicated staff provides a wide variety of civil legal assistance and advocacy for those most in need of legal representation such as victims of domestic violence, tenants facing unfair and arbitrary eviction, seniors victimized by unscrupulous creditors and clients facing many other types of legal matters.
