The Recruiting Manager will ensure that PFJ is able to recruit outstanding entry-level candidates to our Client Advocate Professional Fellowship Program, including developing PFJ’s recruitment and selection strategy, building recruiting systems and processes, and forming relationships to grow our candidate pool. The Recruiting Manager will also support national team recruiting, as well as onboarding and offboarding for Client Advocates and staff.

This includes identifying target recruiting channels and events, coordinating PFJ’s attendance at recruiting events, building relationships with target schools and other stakeholders, managing Client Advocate job postings, coordinating PFJ-hosted events during the recruitment process, and communicating with individual candidates.
  2. Review candidate applications and score them using PFJ’s approved application rubric; recommend candidates to advance in the interview process.
  3. Manage Client Advocate selection process, including maintaining PFJ’s interview and selection rubrics, preparing staff to participate in the interview process, tracking candidate progression through the process, calibrating interview scores, and tracking offers and acceptances.
  4. Develop and maintain recruiting systems, such as PFJ’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This includes preparing and maintaining PFJ’s ATS throughout each recruiting cycle and ensuring that all applicant data is kept accurate and timely.
  5. Administer Client Advocate onboarding and offboarding, including ensuring standard onboarding and offboarding processes are in place, obtaining necessary information from Advocates, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive records, coordinating with program staff to ensure Advocates are added and removed from all PFJ accounts, and updating the Advocate Directory.
  6. Recruit national team staff, including preparing and posting open positions, reviewing applications and recommending candidates for advancement, coordinating interviews with other team members, and communicating with candidates throughout the process.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Desired qualifications include:
