    About ARTZ Philadelphia

ARTZ Philadelphia is a 13-year-old non profit that connects people living with dementia and their care partners through the power of the arts. Partnering with museums, arts centers, and other cultural organizations, we create inclusive, joyful experiences that preserve the dignity and foster the creativity of all participants in our programs while creating caring community.

We have a budget of under $400,000, a staff of four, a board of twelve, a cohort of contract facilitators, and a dedicated community of volunteers.

As we launch our Fund for the Future Campaign – a multi-year effort to strengthen staff capacity, expand community outreach, and build long-term sustainability – we are seeking a dynamic Development Coordinator to lead the growth of our fundraising efforts as we shape our next chapter.

    Position Overview

The primary focus of the role is prospect identification, donor outreach, campaign tracking, campaign event support, and CRM management, with a secondary focus on earned revenue.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate annual fund and campaign donor outreach, stewardship, and tracking.
    • Support Executive Director, Board, and Campaign Committee in cultivating and soliciting prospects (approximately $200,000+/year for three years)
    • Assist in preparing funding proposals, reports, and sponsorship materials.
    • Maintain accurate donor records and generate regular progress reports.
    • Help plan and implement cultivation and campaign events.
    • Ensure timely communication and follow-through with all donor interactions.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Commitment to ARTZ Philadelphia’s mission and values of inclusion, creativity, and compassion
    • Proven excellence in written, verbal, and phone communication skills.
    • Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
    • Confident, outgoing, and people-oriented personality.
    • Comfortable reaching out to donors and setting up meetings.
    • Experience with CRMs (specifically Bloomerang and Givebutter)
    • Experience with grant platforms (Instrumentl) and fundraising platforms a plus
    • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace
