CCF Scholarship Assistant, in the Scholarship/Opportunities Office, advances the mission of the Foundation to provide opportunities for young Italian Americans that support education and career success. The Scholarship/Opportunities Office is seeking a dynamic and strong candidate to support the management of a k-12 scholarship program as well as an internship program for college scholarship recipients. This position provides assistance to the Director of the Scholarship/Opportunities Office.


  • Assist implementing all aspects of the scholarship and internship programs
  • Develop materials for programs as needed
  • Maintain and create databases for programs
  • Liaison with parents and scholarship recipients
  • Coordinate program events and committee meetings
  • Manage communications with program applicants and families
  • Create and maintain programmatic records, spreadsheets, and files related to scholarships and internships
  • Coordinate online applications, schedule interviews and the selection process for each program
  • Prepare for Committee meetings (some evening work is required during high busy season)
  • Support on activities and events as needed for the Columbus Day weekend

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience required
  • Program management experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational and relationship building skills
  • Ability to multi-task, follow through/execute task
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Superior written and verbal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Raiser's Edge and database management a plus
