  • Extensive calendar and meeting coordination using Outlook and other scheduling tools
  • Ensure processes are followed for accessing the Head of School including limiting unscheduled meetings and seeing that scheduled meetings begin and end on time
  • The ability to convert classroom observation notes into short reports
  • General administrative support including using Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel and Word 
  • Assist with preparations for Board meetings and other staff meetings by administratively supporting the creation of the monthly Board dashboard, confirming technology is set up and catering is ordered as needed
  • Support occasional school activities during and after school including caregiver conference nights, fundraisers or other events where the Head of School may be in attendance 
  • Take meeting notes for internal staff meetings in Microsoft Office Word or Google Docs and distribute via email as needed
  • Maintain agendas for cabinet meetings and other recurring meetings chaired by the Head of School
  • Assist with the coordination of special projects for the leadership team as requested 


  • High School Diploma, GED/HSE required, Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • 5+ years of administrative experience in a non-profit or academic environment required
  • Excellent written and oral skills required
  • Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint and Word required, working knowledge of Excel and G-Suite a big plus
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Must have a calm professional demeanor when necessary, along with a sense of humor and willingness to work in a fast paced, results driven environment
  • Must be able to take direction, as well as work independently
  • Bust be able to successfully pass fingerprint clearance as required to work in a public school
