If you’re ready for the brightest career future, join us in this excellent opportunity to showcase your talents. We are currently seeking an experienced Trainer/ Learning Specialist for our Training & Staff Development department. 


  • Design, develop, pilot and deliver learning programs for staff and management; diverse delivery methods to include instructor led training, e-learning, blended programs, webinars and individual interventions
  • Develop curriculum, facilitator guides, PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and training documentation based on instructional design principles
  • Evaluate and document impact and results of learning programs; gather qualitative and quantitative data and feedback from participants and their managers; debrief stakeholders and own management as needed
  • Drive follow-through on transfer of learning and application of knowledge, skills and capabilities to the job with the goal of enhancing individual and team’s productivity and effectiveness, including on-the-job support
  • Partner with departmental Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to decipher relevant information; coach SMEs during Train the Trainer programs
  • Effectively communicate program schedule, program status and issues to stakeholders and own management as appropriate
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
  • Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education or related field, or equivalent work related experience required
  • Minimum three (3) years training experience required with a minimum two (2) years experience in health insurance, benefits, or pension preferred
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with all level of staff required
  • Experience in a unionized environment preferred
  • Mathematical understanding required for Pension calculations
  • Excellent written and communication skills required
  • Ability to build effective relationships within and across department
  • Must have strong customer service orientation skills, able to multitask and be a team player
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
