DESCRIPTION OF THE WOMEN’S COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION PROJECT
The Women’s Community Revitalization Project (WCRP) was founded in 1987 as a multi-racial community based development organization committed to the social and economic empowerment of low-income women and their families. The part time administrator is supervised by the executive director.
OFFICE MANAGEMENT, IT MANAGEMENT AND CLERICAL SUPPORT
Maintain general organizational files, order office supplies, provide clerical support for major projects and maintain organization’s mailing list, serve as computer system administrator, trouble shoot hardware and software problems, manage IT consultant.
Create and maintain personnel files, orient new staff to WCRP insurance and pension program and ensure that staff are enrolled in a timely manner.
PUBLIC RELATIONS/ VOLUNTEER SUPPORT
Work with WCRP staff to support board and advisory committee meetings, orientation of new board and advisory committee members, public events and yearly individual giving campaign.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have: two years experience in office administration with knowledge of Microsoft office applications and familiarity with Outlook and Salesforce; experience in basic computer maintenance; excellent communication skills; strong organizational, planning and record keeping skills; initiative and high energy; and willingness to work occasional evenings.
20 hour per week position
Salary range: $19,000-$22,000
