    About Us:

    Obu Lamu is dedicated to providing personalized education for children with special needs, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other learning differences. We create inclusive and supportive learning environments that help every child succeed.

    Position Overview:

    We are looking for a Creative Special Needs Educator to design and deliver individualized education for children with special needs. You will tailor lessons and create engaging, visual resources to support each child's learning journey.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Personalize education plans for students with special needs, adapting content to their unique learning styles.
    • Teach virtual classes, creating an interactive and supportive environment for each child.
    • Develop visual learning tools and resources to enhance understanding.
    • Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
    • Collaborate with the Obu Lamu team to ensure effective learning strategies and support.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
    • Creative approach to teaching with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage children remotely.
    • Strong organizational skills to develop personalized lesson plans and assessments.
    • Commitment to learning and growing in the field of special education.

    What We Offer:

    Volunteer Period: The suitable candidate will teach remotely for three months dedicating atleast three hours per day from Monday to Fridays.

    Training Period: After an evaluation, a two-month training phase will follow to develop skills and integrate into the role.

    Employment Opportunity: Upon successful completion of the training, the role may transition into a fully employed position with a salary and benefits, subject to a second evaluation.
