211info is seeking a Foster Program Coordinator to build partnerships and resources that support foster parents and foster care-related programs for Oregonians.
211info’s Foster Program includes a 24/7 Foster Parent Support Line that includes resources, information and referrals for Oregon DHS foster parents and their families. The Foster Program Coordinator facilitates 211info’s delivery of high-quality service by working with Oregon’s foster-care networks, Foster Parent Support Line staff and other stakeholders.
This is a 40-hour-a-week position based at 211info’s Portland headquarters. The Coordinator’s community engagement work includes making presentations and attending meetings throughout the state, maintaining foster-related resources in the 211info database and providing internal program leadership that includes staff training and contract reports. Applicants should have knowledge of Oregon’s social services networks, experience with public speaking and outreach, database experience and reliable transportation for statewide travel. A bachelor's degree in a social service field is preferred.
