POSITION SUMMARY:

The Institutional Giving and Grant Development Coordinator supports the growing functions of uAspire’s development department including all donor stewardship, research, solicitation and grant management activities conducted by the development team. Working with colleagues throughout uAspire, the Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for all donor relations activities including communications, recordkeeping and reporting.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate preparation for meetings with corporate and foundation donors, prospects and other stakeholders including preparing meeting briefings and materials
  • Maintain database of donor agreements, pledge documentation, standard attachments and other grant management documents
  • Draft communications to foundation and corporate partners, most notably acknowledgements
  • Provide excellent and timely fulfillment of data and information requests to relationship managers
  • Maintain an in-depth database via Salesforce including logging call reports, coordinating moves management, and managing relationship manager deadlines for the completion of follow up actions. Work with Fundraising Operations Team to develop and pull reports utilizing Salesforce and other fundraising software.
  • Create and maintain timely foundation and corporate partner reports
  • Collect and manage data from across the various internal teams including impact metrics, client stories, donor newsletters and social media campaign materials
  • Manage foundation and corporate inquiries, schedule and coordinate site visits
  • Recruit and manage a small portfolio of $10k and below donors through the entire donation cycle
  • Serve as the liaison to communications/marketing to ensure that all corporate and foundation donors are properly recognized on uAspire collateral, both printed and digital
  • Prepare and assemble materials for meetings and events such as donor site visit, senior Leadership meetings, industry specific events and others as they arise
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of professional experience required, preferably in the non-profit sector
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow through
  • Ability to operate with purpose, urgency and accuracy in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Superior organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent strategic thinker and goal orientation. 
  • Team player; track record of building strong relationships with various types of people and the ability to motivate colleagues and peers to meet ambitious goals.
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet and fundraising software.
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred; experience with comparable fundraising database required

Anticipated start date: July 15, 2021

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $44,500 - $52,000. Salary commensurate with experience and education. All full-time employees receive a competitive benefits package.

Location: This position can be based out of our Boston, MA, New York, NY, or Oakland, CA offices.
