What We Seek

The FSHD Society is currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and resourceful Data Entry/ Gifts Processing Coordinator to coordinate data entry, grassroots donor stewardship, and donor meetings.  The Data Entry/ Gifts Processing Coordinator will be responsible for directing and administering all aspects of the donor database, gift processing, donor recognition, mailing lists, and grassroots donor stewardship. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your technical skills with a popular Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

• You have an obsessive attention to detail and can spot an error from a mile away.

• 1+ years of Salesforce.org experience a plus.

• Experience with nonprofit processes preferred.

• Self-starter, enthusiastic, self-motivated

Core Duties and Responsibilities

The following represents a list of essential duties and responsibilities; other duties may be assigned as required.

Database Management (get your geek on)

• Be the database guru and ensure that no one else is mucking up your high data entry standards (and revel in the Zen of cleaning up existing messy data).

• Ensure all donations are entered quickly and correctly so donors can be thanked immediately.

• Process acknowledgment letters using mail merge and mass update systems; ensure thank you and acknowledgment letters are processed daily.

• Review electronic donations to ensure they sync correctly to donors and donor history.

• Scan checks and make daily deposits.

• Reconcile daily credit card batches.

• Reconcile data with your finance colleagues to ensure organizational harmony.

• Show strong attention to detail and ability to follow and maintain data entry guidelines and protocols.

• Oversee and pull all newsletter, campaign, e-communications, etc. lists.

• Work closely with entire team on all implemented platforms—Salesforce, Intacct, OneCause, CVent, Pardot, etc.

• Perform administrative duties and other assignments as required.

Donor Relations

• Shower our donors with love and appreciation for making this work possible.

• Work closely with the team to develop and implement customer and tiered stewardship plans.

• Work closely with the team to coordinate donor meetings. 

• Oversee the expansion of recurring donations, matching gifts and grassroots donor.


Education/Certifications/Licensure 

• BS/BA Degree or Equivalent


Language Skills

• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.

• Must be able to see and read fine print. Employee will have close visual contact with a computer monitor constantly.

• Must be able to communicate utilizing a telephone.

• Mobility to allow access to all parts of the office.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift boxes weighing at least 20 lbs., will sit for long periods of time, and may use repetitive wrist and hand motions involved in sorting and handling documents. The employee is regularly required to reach, with hands and arms.
