  • Plays a key role in logistical support for the annual Night of Hope fundraising event, including but not limited to, registration and software management; name-tag production; oversight of timely and accurate donor entry, tracking, and acknowledgements; and post-event analysis, reporting, and other close-out activities.
  • Develops acquisition, cultivation, and stewardship strategies for Sustainers of Hope.
  • Writes engaging and impactful fundraising appeals for approval by departmental leadership including but not limited to year-end appeals, fall and spring appeals, Giving Tuesday appeals, etc.
  • Oversees use of the Raisers Edge donor database structure, global changes and compliance with database use.
  • Manages strategy on direct response and social media fundraising opportunities such as Do More 24, Facebook Fundraisers, etc.
  • Ensures the participation and compliance of COH in workplace giving campaigns such as the United Way/Combined Federal Campaign and other third-party charitable facilitators such as Catalogue for Philanthropy.

Level of Language Proficiency

  • B.A./B.S. or equivalent required.
  • 3 to 5 years of development experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Experience supervising preferred.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit, social service environment a plus.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, including internet and Microsoft Office required.
  • Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge required.
  • Able to work some evenings and weekends required.
