Description

Tom Kamber, the award-winning social entrepreneur who started and runs OATS, the nation’s most successful organization focused on harnessing technology to transform the lives of older people, is looking for someone to help him.

This fast-paced role requires someone who is smart, pleasant, and energetic, who can listen carefully and execute quickly and accurately.

Responsible for all aspects of support for the executive director, including:

  • Scheduling and calendar management
  • Making travel arrangements
  • Assisting with phone calls, email, correspondence, and note taking
  • Assist in the preparation of documents and presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Basic technology support
  • Running errands
  • Organizing events for staff
  • Helping with the organization of research materials

A driver’s license is required, as the position may entail some driving of a corporate car. Once hired, this position will require the passing of the New York State notary test (all fees paid by the employer).
