The League to Save Lake Tahoe is seeking someone to work in our Fritzi & David Huntington Environmental Education Center & Store. Your duties will include greeting walk-in visitors and providing them with information about the League, environmental issues facing Lake Tahoe and our initiatives to address these challenges. Many visitors come to our Education Center & Store to purchase Keep Tahoe Blue merchandise. In addition to educating the public, you will use your customer service skills to answer questions about our merchandise, highlight our environmentally friendly options and process sales. You will answer and direct calls to appropriate staff members, taking messages and providing callers with resources and assistance. This position requires a high level of organization and flexibility as you will also be providing operational support to the staff.

The Education Center Associate is a full-time hourly position based at our headquarters in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Our regular business hours are from 9 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday. Due to the nature of the position, you will be working in the office from 8:30 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday with some evening and weekend work depending on organization event schedules and needs.
