POSITION: Candid Support Operations Liaison

REPORTING TO: Candid Support Senior Liaison

LOCATION: Flexible, with preference given to candidates near any Candid office location

POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Liaison provides day-to-day operational and back-end support for several teams across Candid’s Networks division, including training programs, the Funding Information Network, and the Candid Learning site. The Operations Liaison’s responsibilities span a variety of operational facets--program support, customer service, liaising with accounting, compiling/reporting statistics, and website editing/troubleshooting—so a wide breadth of operational skills and a flexible, can-do attitude are essential. The Operations Liaison will need to work simultaneously on multiple projects for multiple teams so excellent multi-tasking and diplomacy skills are a must. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage operational needs for Candid’s training programs:
  • Delegate, escalate, or respond to transactional-based training inquiries (charges, refunds, etc.) in a timely, knowledgeable, and courteous manner.
  • Manage and update the income worksheet that tracks reach and revenue goals for all retail training programs.
  • Compile registration lists for each fee-based training program from registration and payment platforms and input data into accounting system to manage historical records.
  • Liaise with internal accounting department to create accounting and promotional codes for training programs and to facilitate refund requests.
  • Provide support for Candid’s Funding Information Network (FIN) team:
  • Delegate, escalate, or respond to general inquiries submitted by FIN partners.
  • Provide technical support for new partners by assisting in account creation and ensuring partners have access to relevant products.
  • Oversee FIN partner registrations for Candid trainings and manage enrollments.
  • Manage process for uploading partner events on Candid’s Learning site.
  • Support regional managers in pulling usage statistics as needed.
  • Help maintain Candid’s Learning site:
  • Assist in troubleshooting reported site bugs or enhancements.
  • Assist in editing and maintaining site content in WordPress and/or using basic HTML
  • Check in monthly with Web Design and Development team to keep abreast of site issues and enhancements.
  • Update Candid Learning website documentation as site evolves.
  • Oversee the Networks’ Division goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Manage inputs to the KPI Dashboard
  • Suggest ways to efficiently and effectively evolve, track, and report KPIs.
  • Create and deliver monthly reports to Networks Division
  • Assist with creation of other KPI-related reports on an as-needed basis
  • Provide back-end technical support to the Network Engagement team as needed, including support for programs, Network Days, Network Achievement reporting, and invoicing.  

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and with multiple departments to achieve program goals.
  • Patience, perseverance, and follow-through a must.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong aptitude towards numbers (accounting and statistics) with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge and experience working in or with the nonprofit sector.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever it is most needed.
  • Easily learns and adapts to new technology; experience with NetSuite, WordPress, basic HTML EventBrite, GoToWebinar, Stripe, Bridge, and/or Salesforce ServiceCloud preferred.
  • Willingness to perform other duties and special projects as needed/requested.
  • College degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
