University Behavioral Associates (UBA) at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York is seeking an individual with a masters-level in the mental health field to serve as a therapist for the Multisystemic Therapy for substance abuse (MST-SA) program funded by the NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS). Therapist duties include assessment, treatment, and collaboration with families, youth, and community agency staff. The therapist will function as part of an MST team, will participate in weekly team supervision and consultation, and will document treatment efforts consistent with MST-SA and ACS guidelines. Therapist must be available to provide services in the home or community settings, including evening and/or weekend availability, and to provide periodic on-call 24-hour coverage.
The preferred candidate will have demonstrated clinical experience with adolescents and/or families, substance use issues, and with providing behaviorally-based treatments, and will possess excellent organizational skills.
