EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF MASSACHUSETTS WORKFORCE ASSOCIATION
The Massachusetts Workforce Association (MWA), a newly formed Association, seeks an executive director, who at the direction of the Board of Directors will lead the Association to serve as the unified voice for workforce development in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. MWA will provide a wide range of member benefits and services, including advocacy, research, professional development, policy leadership, revenue generation and communications to advance the capacity of the workforce development system to serve employers and job seekers in the state. The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten years of executive-level management experience; considerable knowledge regarding workforce development policy, programs and strategies; knowledge of the political and policy development process relevant to workforce development and the skills to advocate effectively in policy and budget decisions; knowledge of the workforce needs of key business sectors in Massachusetts and the skills to engage businesses in the leadership and work of the association.
