This full-time, non-exempt position is responsible for managing the day-to-day administration and maintenance of Boston Ballet’s web, email, and project management platforms. Working closely with the Marketing and Production Manager and in collaboration with the design team, this person is responsible for the execution and analysis of creative content for the website and email platforms, as well as ensuring the timely creation of marketing deliverables. This position is for you if you’re interested in gaining experience in marketing analytics, marketing automation, and project management.


EMAIL MARKETING FUNCTIONS

·       Deploy all e-communications, approx. 100/month to targeted segments of 150k+ active database

·       Work with Digital Content Team to take full advantage of new marketing automation tool to strategize, design, and execute personalized patron journeys across defined segments

·       Generate email analytics to track performance and adjust in real time to continuously maximize response and sales across multiple segments

·       Serve as an idea generator within the marketing team for creative email campaign strategy, planning, and creation

·       Participate in annual strategic planning meetings with digital advertising agency to understand full multi-channel picture. Stay abreast of any trends that would affect performance


WEBSITE MARKETING FUNCTIONS

·       Serves as primary administrator of the Content Management System (CMS) for Boston Ballet website

·       Track website performance through Google Analytics

·       Recommend best ways of presenting content within the capabilities and constraints of the site for maximum patron usability and achievement of site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

·       Partner with web provider on improvements to platform


PROCESS MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS

·       Serve as point-person for project management software, building and maintaining task lists and timelines for all print and digital marketing materials

·       Process marketing requests from other departments including Development and Boston Ballet School

·       Along with Marketing and Production Manager, coordinate quality assurance and approvals process for all marketing deliverables

·       Serve as primary proofreader during production process

·       Assist in the organization and cataloguing of all digital assets in the Digital Asset Management system (DAM)

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Bachelor’s degree required in digital marketing or related field or equivalent work experience

·       1+ years of applicable professional experience preferably as part of a marketing department

·       Passionate about developing and optimizing processes, with a skill for picking out patterns and solving puzzles

·       Goal-oriented self-starter with strong interest in digital marketing and content management

·       Experience building emails using e-communications platforms such as Mail Chimp or Wordfly

·       Experience with marketing automation software (such as Active Campaign and/or Prospect 2 a plus

·       Experience managing web content and CMS platforms

·       Proven track record of strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment

·       Ability to work independently or with a cross-functional team to effectively handle multiple projects and stakeholders while driving toward deadlines

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a diligent proofreading eye
