Program: Clinton Residence

Salary: $63,000 per year                                                                    

 

Program Description:

Clinton Residence is a 57-bed transitional treatment facility for mentally ill adult men and women with a history of chronic homelessness. The residence provides comprehensive assessments and interventions supporting the recovery model of mental illness. Once supported, to attain their highest level of independence, residents are referred to appropriate levels of permanent housing.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for supervising clinical staff in counseling, as well as developing, creating, and implementing client centered practices to respond to medical, psychological, as well as any addictions needs; eventually, promoting successful community reintegration for all residents. Other duties and responsibilities include:

·        Review, schedule and assess all program admissions. Coordination of referrals and discharges for a 57-bed residential treatment program. Build and maintain a strong connection with both local and State service providers.

·        Direct clinical supervision of case management staff, which also includes providing on-going training, assessment and coordination of clinical meetings. Assist with the development of procedures in accordance with evidence-based practices.

·        Act as task supervisor of on-site case aides to coordinate services.

·        Maintain statistical and reporting requirements, along with oversight of Foothold AWARDS Clinical software database.

·        Ensure clinical compliance with OMH 595 Regulations, by completing periodic chart reviews and internal audits in coordination with the Quality Control Department.

·        Share 24 hour administrative oversight of building and staff in conjunction with the Program Director.

·        Assist with program evaluation and development as part of maintaining quality assurance protocols.

·        Conduct regular and timely utilization reviews of agency records.

·        On call for all clinical emergencies, 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

 

Qualifications:

·        Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field.

·        Minimum of two years experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a residential setting. Clinical Licensure preferred (LCSW, LMHC, etc.)

·        Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
