The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social constructivism or the Reggio Emilia philosophy and a commitment to creating engaging and healing learning environments for migrant and displaced children.

About Nest Global:

For millions of young children experiencing forced migration or poverty, education is not available. Nest Global makes high quality early learning opportunities accessible to children who need them most by creating Nests which offer free, culturally responsive preschool education in refugee camps, migrant shelters, and communities experiencing poverty and hardship.

Nest programs are safe and engaging classrooms where young children and their families can learn and heal through play. For children who have been separated from their home or who experience daily hardship, the opportunity to be autonomous, make decisions, and play freely within a safe and supportive social environment is a significant, restorative experience. Our pedagogy, the Nest Approach, draws from social-constructivist and Reggio-Emilia philosophies, with an emphasis on materials work, joyful problem-solving, and collaborative learning.
