The Fuller Foundation is a Christian philanthropic services organization that facilitates charitable giving for individuals and families. We help Christians reach their financial and giving goals and support Fuller Seminary. We offer Investment Management, Donor-Advised Funds, Trust Administration, Gift Planning, and Estate Planning services for generous friends of the seminary.


We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful candidate to join our team. We desire an experienced individual capable of appropriately representing a professional organization and one who contributes to the smooth functioning of our office environment. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, experience managing a wide variety of clerical responsibilities with attention to detail, be highly self-motivated, organized, proactive, and customer service oriented. Above all, the candidate must have integrity, character, and a servant's heart.

Job Duties

  • Welcome and greet visitors and guests at the front desk and direct to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer incoming calls promptly in a courteous manner and prioritize the distribution of messages in a timely manner
  • Support Executive Assistant/Office Manager with general operational tasks
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system; perform data entry and scan documents
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails, and assist in the preparation of presentation materials
  • Manage Outlook and Google calendars
  • Plan and schedule meetings, appointments, conference calls, and other office related events; maintain building required visitor entry system
  • Record and archive meeting minutes as assigned
  • Make hotel and travel arrangements and prepare trip itineraries as required
  • Reconcile credit card statements related to office purchases
  • Prepare expense reports and maintain electronic archive
  • Perform retrieval of mail from the post office and on-site mailbox daily; process incoming and prepare outgoing mail
  • Run out-of-office errands as needed
  • Compose orders for office supplies, materials, equipment, and food; manage office supplies and break room supply inventory and organization
  • Coordinate and order meals for meetings, events, and staff lunches
  • Monitor and maintain office equipment; repair or replace malfunctioning equipment, and hire technicians when required
  • Coordinate IT and phone system projects and perform follow up on Help Desk requests directly with IT and phone consultants
  • Ensure reception area and office is kept clean and organized always
  • Act as Floor Warden in compliance with building safety standard
  • Act as liaison to building management office, building security, and parking garage; maintain employee rosters for parking spaces and building security
  • Coordinate and execute special events as required
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in a professional services capacity
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and general computer/internet knowledge is required
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn and implement new skills quickly
  • Detail oriented, organized, able to multi-task and follow instructions
  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
  • Adaptable to frequent change and work well under pressure
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive documentation and situations
  • Positive attitude, a desire to help others, and ability to effectively work in a team environment
