Exceptional opportunity for an exceptional skill set. We seek an enthusiastic and experienced bilingual (English/Spanish) professional to supervise the Skills Training Staff and oversee the implementation of skills training for the youth in the Unaccompanied Children Treatment Foster Care Program based in New York City. The successful candidate needs excellent communication and organizational skills and experience in implementing training programs. A history of working with youth and families and familiarity with ACS, OCFS, OMRDD, OMH and other relevant municipal and state agencies preferred.
We seek someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Education or other human service field with two years management experience. Candidate must understand developmentally appropriate behavior for the population served, and be able to work with the Skills Training Team to provide hands on implementation skills training that best serves the population
An outstanding leader, manager, coach and mentor – the Director of Skills Training is on the front line working with a professional team to serve this vulnerable youth population.
