Orange County Justice Fund (OCJF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to empower transformative change in the immigration system so the most vulnerable immigrants and refugees in Orange, impacted by detention and deportation, are afforded effective legal representation, due process rights, and services for community re-integration. In 2019, OCJF launched a bond fund available for persons detained at federal immigration detention centers, which to date has provided funds that have led to the release of over 70 people from immigration detention. OCJF collaborates with local coalitions of legal service providers and community organizers providing legal and community support to immigrants and refugees impacted by detention and deportation, and actively engages with the broader Orange County community on immigration, incarceration, social justice and related issues.
