Job description: The Resource & Development Coordinator is responsible for management of the donor database and supporting workplace campaign and donor relations. The position also assists with office coordination. Details include:

·      Primary liaison with database customer support. Produce analytical reports, including annual reports for United Way Worldwide. Prepare acknowledgments and receipts for all donations. Oversee processes to ensure that we are maintaining best non-profit and donor relation practices.

·      Serve as the lead for the University of Massachusetts UMACC donor database (Donation Tracker), including updates, data entry systems, gift and pledge processing, reporting and acknowledgments.

·      Project based support for marketing and resource development which may include (but is not limited to) providing staffing support for UWFH event and campaign activities.

·      Office coordination, including preparing daily deposit for all checks, cash, and credit card gifts with appropriate reports; processing checks through remote deposit system; collecting mail from post office daily, and managing Development department files.

 

Job requirements:

·      Previous administrative experience, preferably in a non-profit setting

·      Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or three years related experience

·      Significant proficiency with databases, mail merges and Microsoft Office

·      Familiarity with best practices in non-profit fundraising

·      Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

·      Experience handling confidential information appropriately

·      Ability to closely follow systems and protocols, while juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines

·      Eagerness to take initiative, solve-problems and contribute positively to the work of the team

·      Comfort and ease with technology

·      Strong verbal and written communication skills

·      Sense of humor, passion and commitment to the community
