Compensation: $15.00-17.50/hour

Hours: 40 hours per week - 1.0 FTE 

Position Overview  

This position is committed to keeping focus on positive impact and student experience while ensuring leasing, maintenance, and overall office processes are executed properly.

Essential Job Functions

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing leasing, maintenance and operational support to staff and residents.

·      Provides general administrative and clerical assistance to site staff and maintains the efficient and professional operation of the office.

  • Assists with rent collection processes by receiving payments from tenants, providing receipts and answering questions regarding account balance 
  • Assists with the creation & delivery of lease violation notices, responds to violation complaints and completes necessary follow up.
  • Attends weekly leasing and maintenance staff meetings
  • Coordinates appointments for the leasing, maintenance and office staff.
  • Reviews camera footage when security risks and breaches are identified
  • Manages office and breakroom supply inventory and orders/purchases supplies as needed
  • Schedules and coordinates vendors
  • Reports any observed or received maintenance requests to facilities staff and ensures appropriate steps are taken to resolve the issue, checking in with residents regarding the work order and other requests
  • Maintains the organization of office files and systems containing leasing and resident information.
  • Responsible for providing student support and customer service.
  • Manage the reception area and greets residents, visitors and prospective residents as the first point of contact for office
  • Ensures telephone and mail communication, both internal and external, are handled appropriately and timely
  • Responsible for promptly answering and returning incoming calls and emails regarding apartments and availability
  • Periodically assist with leasing functions to include prospective resident tours and processing of new applications
  • Assists in planning and facilitating social and skill-building events tracking attendance, cost and outcomes
  • Supports residents for daytime lockouts and lost key requests
  • Collaborates with Goose Hollow maintenance and student engagement teams to send notice of entry and complete inspections of apartments when necessary
  • Coordinates with outside vendors to complete work onsite as needed
  • Prioritizes one’s own development and engagement by participating in company trainings, activities, and events
  • Collaborates with other members of the Program staff and resident council to provide a supportive environment where students can thrive

Performs additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • You have 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • You have 1-2 years of experience working in an office environment

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree or you are a current student
  • You have knowledge of Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Law

Capability Requirements 

The following capabilities are required to perform the essential functions of this position:

  • Majority of work is completed in a general office environment with exposure to moderate levels of noise in a well-lit, well-ventilated and fast paced environment; continuously required to read computer screen. Minimal travel is required 5% or less; travel is regional in scope requiring travel by walking.
