Responsible for the daily operations of the Irvington Family Development Center (IFDC) Family Success Center, including the provision of one-on-one services to families and supervision of Community Educator/Volunteer Coordinator and Administrative Assistant. 


  • Monitor and track Family Success Center (FSC) activities and develop strategic plans to meet goals/objectives
  • Complete FSC monthly reports, FSC monthly activities calendars, and other reports 
  • Supervise IFDC Community Educator/Volunteer Coordinator and IFDC Administrative Assistant
  • Monitor the progress of the FSC Parent/Community Advisory Board 
  • Track program expenses and assist with budget planning for activities and events   
  •  Assist with the grant renewal process
  • Work collaboratively with the other Partnership programs
  • Facilitate monthly staff meetings
  • Assist with the coordination, facilitation, and monitoring of FSC community events, educational workshops and outreach efforts
  • Recruit and supervise FSC volunteers and interns
  • Survey participants periodically to understand community needs and implement services accordingly
  • Monitor pregnancy testing procedure 
  • Maintain participant files in an organized and confidential manner 
  • Keep accurate, organized files of resources and referral sources for participants 
  • Maintain educational materials that can be distributed to participants to provide further information on issues that may be affecting themselves or their families 
  • Cultivate donor relationships 
  • Attend conferences and community meetings as requested by supervisor 
  • Handles other assignments as requested


  • Associate’s degree
  • Three years direct practice experience in staff supervision, working directly with diverse populations, providing support and guidance, and providing referrals and resources. 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work extensively in the Irvington community
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Suitre required.
