We are seeking an Evaluation Consultant to assist in assessing the implementation and impact of the organization's multiple programs. Responsibilities will include: research design, quantitative and qualitative analysis, development of interview protocols, facilitating interview and focus groups, program observation, assisting report writing, and ongoing communication with senior management and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and implement M&E systems
  • Describe and conduct data analysis using descriptive statistics
  • Perform program observations, and facilitate and conduct interviews and focus groups
  • Maintain positive and professional ongoing communication with program staff
  • Assist with the preparation, proofreading, and editing of reports, and other written material
  • Track, collate and analyze news and data sources
  • Conduct basic literature
  • Train staff on data collection tools and processes

Qualification, Skills and Knowledge Requirements

  • Master's degree in Public Health or Public Administration with a specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental, or social science
  • Strong quantitative analytic skills
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data using statistical software such as SAS and SPSS
  • Strong written, verbal and editing skills, including summaries, reports, and presentations
  • Must possess excellent judgment and pay high level attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and program planning skills
