ROLE SUMMARY

The key objectives of our San Francisco Key Relationships Manager are two-fold:

1. Get highly credible founders to join the Founders Pledge community

2. Nurture relationships with community members in the Bay Area.

You’ll be the first team member based on the West Coast, but with the full backing and support of FP Global. To succeed, you’ll need to be creative in your approach for new members, while maintaining regular touchpoints with our current SF community. You’ll engage our network in our mission, taking the lead by directly enabling the world’s top entrepreneurs and investors (and their money!) to solve some of the world's most pressing problems.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

1. Manage our existing community and build relationships with potential members:

  • Find creative approaches to have regular interaction with our top members
  • Have a key understanding of the founders and investors we want to invite into the community, inviting potential members to our events
  • Engage our community in FP conversations

2. Hold regular meetings with founders, VCs and investors

3. Work with our Programmes Team to tailor events with our community through dinners and speaker series

4. Attend relevant conferences to network with crucial Bay Area people, and share the FP mission


THE CANDIDATE

Required

  • 5 years of experience building relationships with tech founders and HNW investors
  • Track record of establishing personal relationships with clients
  • An existing network of established connections in the Bay Area tech community
  • Clear, social and charismatic demeanor with solid communication skills
  • Super-organized, with a rigorous attention to detail
  • Excited to inspire evidence-based approaches to philanthropy
  • Fluent in English - other languages would be a plus

Ideal

  • Experience in the non-profit sector in fundraising or key relationship development
