    ABOUT US

    Anthos|Home is a groundbreaking startup focused on housing vulnerable New Yorkers. We're seeking a dedicated Housing Acquisition Associate to support the Vice President of Housing Acquisition and the Housing Acquisition teams. This role involves administrative work, data entry, and ensuring the smooth workflow of the department.

    THE ROLE

    The Housing Acquisition Associate will work closely with the Vice President and Housing Acquisition teams to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities, handling everything from calendar management to project coordination.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee and manage the VP of Housing Acquisition’s calendar, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts.
    • Schedule and organize department-wide meetings and support internal coordination efforts between internal teams.
    • Prepare meeting agendas on behalf of the VP, ensuring alignment with priorities and objectives.
    • Attend meetings as needed, capturing detailed notes or minutes to facilitate follow-up and accountability; maintain organized records of projects and tasks.
    • Act as a liaison for the VP to communicate departmental policy and procedural updates to Housing Supervisors.
    • Assist the VP in maintaining streamlined departmental operations by facilitating communication and support across teams.
    • Work collaboratively across departments to support cross-functional initiatives and improve operational effectiveness.
    • Generate and run departmental reports, synthesizing data into concise summaries for the VP’s review and decision-making.
    • Enter data into Salesforce, maintaining an up-to-date record of all new contacts from the VP’s interactions; outreach to external partners as needed.
    • Provide operational support to Housing Supervisors as needed to ensure smooth department operations.
    • Oversee the end-of-year gift process for property providers, including budgeting, selecting gift ideas, compiling recipient lists, and managing execution.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Familiarity with the NYC housing market and voucher system is a plus.

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

    • Passion for the mission of Anthos|Home and the ability to work in a diverse environment.
    • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in housing or human services.
    • Exceptional organizational and record-keeping abilities, coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
    • Ability to use public transportation or meet travel requirements with reasonable accommodation.
    • Ability to ascend/descend stairs at locations without elevator access.

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

    • Competitive starting salary: $55,000 - $57,000 (dependent on experience).
