Lucie’s Place, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing transitional housing and outreach to LGBTQ young adults experiencing homelessness in Arkansas, is seeking a passionate and dynamic Executive Director to lead our fast growing organization. The Executive Director has primary responsibility for managing Lucie’s Place’s 8-bed residence and drop-in center; supervising residence and drop-in center staff and volunteers; fundraising and donor development; managing the organization’s day-to-day finances; overseeing program evaluation and development; and advising the board of directors on strategic direction. We seek an Executive Director who is politically savvy, and has the ability to engage across stakeholder groups to build coalitions. The new Executive Director must be a visionary leader who is able to effectively communicate our strategic vision and promote the mission of Lucie’s Place.

The successful candidate will have at least two years of experience as a nonprofit, public sector or health care professional and a bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, business administration, or related field. A master’s degree and experience in working with homeless or LGBTQ clients will greatly strengthen the application. Compensation is commensurate with education and experience and includes health and dental benefits.
