ROLE SUMMARY

The New York City-based Key Relationships Manager will establish and manage engagement with our North American community. You will build meaningful relationships with our top priority members to ensure they get the most out of their experience. Through this, you will gain an in-depth understanding of our pledgers, be creative in your approach to engage incredibly busy people and hold a gregarious attitude. 


WHAT YOU’LL DO

1. Community and relationship management:

  • Build meaningful relationships with our core members
  • Find creative ways to have regular touchpoints with our top members
  • Find opportunities to informally engage our members in FP conversations
  • Be highly personable in your interaction with our community

2. Community prospecting

  • Has a keen understanding of the founders and investors we want to invite into the community and invite potential members to our events
  • Encourage prospective startup founders to join the community
  • Seek out new relationships with founders that are a good fit for the community

3. Create a personalized onboarding experience for new members to both welcome and energize them to establish strong relationships


THE CANDIDATE

Required

  • 5 years of experience in relationship building role with tech founders and HNW investors
  • Track record of establishing personal relationships with clients
  • Clear, social and charismatic communicator, who can build a connection with new people
  • Must be highly self-motivated, and super organized with a rigorous attention to detail
  • Fluent understanding and experience in sales/persuasion
  • Excited to inspire evidence-based approaches to philanthropy
  • Fluent in English - other languages would be a plus

Ideal

  • Experience in the non-profit sector in fundraising or key relationship development
