The Climate Group is seeking an experienced development professional with a background in institutional fundraising to support the U.S. development team with maternity leave coverage.
The role includes responsibilities to manage and execute on existing cultivation and solicitation plans, identify new prospects, steward relationships, and manage the Senior Development Officer. The Senior Manager will support all streams of fundraising as needed during the leave period but provide specific leadership on corporate and foundation partnerships.
Goals during this period include supporting efforts to meet, and exceed, revenue targets with a primary focus on identifying and securing unrestricted and core operating institutional resources. The person holding this position will lead relationship management and income generation from these funding sources in line with the U.S. fundraising strategy.
