Stochastic Labs (www.stochasticlabs.org) is a new style of incubator for ventures at the intersection of art, technology, and science. Based in a curious Victorian mansion in Berkeley, Stochastic provides seed funds, residencies, tools, and community to the Bay Area's top creators. . .and takes no equity or IP. Unlike traditional tech incubators that fast track participants towards minimal viable product, Stochastic offers a more reflective, creative environment wherein artists and engineers are encouraged to ask big picture questions about the future of technology. As we gear up for our next session, we will be hosting weekly dinners, happy hours, and talks with distinguished guests from across the arts, sciences, and tech.
Stochastic is a nonprofit organization. We are located a few blocks north of the UC Berkeley campus.
We are currently hiring a part time Program Manager (20hrs/week over 9-12 months each year). This is an exciting opportunity to help build a new organization while creating a unique community for artists, entrepreneurs, scientists, and technologists.
Flexible hours. Writers, artists, and other professional creatives encouraged to apply.
