Help us shape the American story! SAADA seeks an experienced Digital Fundraising Consultant to help plan, manage, and implement its year-end digital fundraising campaign.

Since its founding in 2008, the South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA) has enabled academics, artists, journalists, students, and community members to write books, create new content, and shape public understanding about the South Asian American community. Learn more at

The Digital Fundraising Consultant will support SAADA's year-end fundraising efforts through the organization's website, email, peer-to-peer, social media, and other digital platforms. The ideal candidate for this position has substantial previous experience with online non-profit fundraising, including donor retention, and reaching new potential donors.

Successful candidates will have the following skills and experience:

• Passion for non-profit fundraising; strong awareness of emerging trends and best practices

• Demonstrated ability to expand communities of support

• Excellent writing, editing, design, and organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong interest in issues related to immigration, media representation, and community storytelling; knowledge of South Asian American history is a plus


This position is for 10 hours/week through the end of the year. You can be based anywhere in the country and most of your work will be done from home, so we are looking for a candidate who is able to work independently and meet deadlines proactively. The pay rate for this position is $20/hour. Benefits are not provided.
