The Shakespeare Theatre Company seeks an Institutional Fundraising Coordinator (IFC) to support the day-to-day operations of foundation, government, and corporate fundraising. The IFC will be responsible for researching prospects; writing proposals, letters of inquiry and reports; stewarding grants and managing donor relationships; maintaining Tessitura accounts; and participating at cultivation and fundraising events. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Arts Management, Theatre, Communications or related field and 1-2 years grant writing experience. The IFC must be very detail-oriented, diplomatic and organized and be able to effectively communicate details to other staff members and STC management in a timely manner. Strong interpersonal skills and writing skills, flexibility and willingness to learn and knowledge of Microsoft Office are required, experience with Tessitura or a similar database preferred but not required.
