Advocates for International Development and the Rule of Law Expertise UK (ROLE UK) Programme are currently recruiting for a full-time Programme Support Assistant to be based in our offices in London, UK.

This exciting opportunity will involve providing hands-on administrative support to the ROLE UK programme management team and working closely with the Programme Officers and Finance Officer to ensure the smooth planning and delivery of ROLE UK Assignments, which are short-term international Rule of Law development projects involving UK pro bono legal experts. The Programme Support Assistant will also provide financial, logistical and wider administrative support to the ROLE UK programme. The Programme Support Assistant role will provide you with insight into the functionality of an international development programme.

Candidates should have strong administration, including financial, and coordination experience, have good IT skills and be able to communicate well face to face and in writing. Candidates should have excellent diplomacy and interpersonal skills, experience of dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and as part of a small team and be committed to international development and the efforts towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
