The TNC California IT Team is searching for a customer-oriented IT Manager who enjoys helping staff onsite and remotely with minor and complex technical issues while balancing statewide IT objectives with the team. The role needs someone who is a self-starter, proactive, reliable, and approachable with an affinity for collaboration with varying stakeholders.


Primary responsibilities include:

·        Lifecycle management (purchasing, inventory, support) of computer and network equipment.

·        Onsite and remote support for IT infrastructure and services.

·        Onboarding orientation, support, and assistance for new staff.

·        Participation in operations team functions, including IT forecasting and budgeting.

·        Delivering IT communications, training, etc. on behalf of the IT team.


Skills & Experience

  • Associates degree along with 2 years’ experience in operations or equivalent combined. 
  • Experience with MS Office software, Windows, and Macintosh operating system.
  • Experience manipulating, analyzing and interpreting data.
  • Experience in direct customer service in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with web conferencing software.
  • Experience with providing remote support to users at different locations.


Desired Qualifications

  • Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
  • Experience with TNC standard software applications.
  • Training ability and/or experience a plus.
  • Database management skills with the ability to produce reports.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and maintaining budgets.
  • Can do attitude working with diverse demographics and high profile users
  • Fluency in English and another language (if required).
