Summary

This position is located in the Office of External Affairs, Department of the Chief Executive Officer, in Washington, DC.

This position is designated as a full-time telework position on a temporary basis due to COVID-19 and may transition to onsite work when the office fully reopens.

Responsibilities

Public Affairs Manager (Reporting & Analytics) is responsible for leveraging data-driven insights to help maximize external communication effectiveness for the agency, its stakeholders, and the public that reflects and strengthens agency awareness, drives engagement and facilitates action. The incumbent is a world-class marketing analyst who will help shape how we use data and technology to reach our audiences - prospective members, volunteers, those currently serving and organizational partners - through personalized experiences across multiple marketing touch points. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Delivering findings and recommendations regarding marketing performance and opportunities to measure the performance and return of investment of marketing, outreach and advertising programs.
  2. Serving as team's subject matter expert for CRM database, reporting and best practices, including training and support to partners, grantees, sponsors and agency colleagues.
  3. Collaborating across the agency to establish, maintain and report KPIs, processes and solutions that are scalable, repeatable, and effective to drive discussions, facilitate decision making, and track key learnings.
  4. Providing ongoing recommendations to leadership and channel managers (web, email, social media, press, and recruitment) using complex information, business knowledge, and strategic assumptions when data doesn't exist.
  5. Identifying opportunities to leverage data and technology to deliver better outcomes using dynamic, personalized content.
  6. Leading A/B and other test strategies and assess marketing campaign effectiveness.
  7. Developing self-serve data and drive data literacy by creating learning and measurement plans for outreach efforts and campaigns.
  8. Providing training, development, and metrics support to partners, grantees, sponsors and agency colleagues, and instill a culture of continuous improvement and evolution.
  9. Organizing and plan the workflow of projects to meet deadlines and established goals.
  10. Arranging complex information into organized and easily understood formats.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
