The Role

 

As a transition coordinator, you will deliver high quality oversight and coordination of all the business support for country transition processes across Africa. You will monitor the implementation of country transition plans, ensuring that support for the country transition and legacy programmes is provided timely and effectively, by coordinating the support across different business support functions in the Africa Node.

 

As part of the transition oversight, you will make recommendations to the Head of Business Operations Africa for the allocation of resources to countries based on needs and risks. 

 

What we are looking for

 

As transition coordinator you will have;

  • Experience in change processes and in leading, project managing or coordinating change processes. Evidence of contributing to past success in change/transition processes.
  • Excellent people skills, with proven ability to motivate others and work collaboratively, requiring strong self-awareness and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to navigate complex problems involving multiple stakeholders and interests
  • Demonstratable ability to manage multiple, complex and competing projects at once, including the ability to understand and process large amounts of information quickly, to organize work and to maintain a focus on results.
