Are you someone who loves to provide outstanding customer service and compassionate care? Does the thought using your skills and expertise to help dogs and cats motivate you to be at your best? If you are an experienced customer service provider, we're eager to hear from you.

The San Francisco SPCA Veterinary Hospital at the Mission Campus is a full-service veterinary practice that includes emergency care, general medicine, surgical, and behavior services. Compassion, respect, education, collaboration, dedication and integrity are the values that drive our business and support our staff members.

The SF SPCA is looking to fill multiple roles including a full-time role and a Bilingual- Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin speaking full-time role. As a Client Service Representative you will welcome and check-in our patients; create and update records; provide important patient education; and assist with intake, follow-up and discharge procedures and payments. You'll make the first great impression for all of our visitors while directing them to the appropriate locations. Facilitating good working relationships through teamwork and collaboration is essential for your success and the success of the team. The ideal candidate is confident, outgoing, has a strong work ethic, and has at least one year of professional experience with high volume client support. Veterinary or pharmacy experience is a plus.

Why this is one of the best places to work:

Great environment: We are a team environment that respects one another and knows how to have fun while working hard too.

Full-time employees are eligible for full benefits package including: paid time off, holiday pay, medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, tax-deferred retirement plan, pre-tax commute expense deductions, pet bereavement leave, discounted veterinary care, employee discount on retail, pet supplies, dog training classes, and humane education.

A chance to grow your career: We believe deeply in helping our team members expand their skills. You'll have additional opportunities that only a large family of hospitals can offer.

World-class facility: We are a state-of-the-art, AAHA-accredited facility operating seven days a week. We see great clients and interesting cases. Our practice continues to grow and thrive.

An opportunity to help homeless animals: While you'll be seeing owned animals for most of your day, our hospitals do give care to seriously ill shelter animals. And it's gratifying to be a part of one of the largest and most successful animal welfare organizations in the world. Your hard work isn't going into the wallet of an owner or shareholder. It's helping support programs that save the lives of homeless animals.
