About Our Program
Holy Names University Upward Bound is an educational outreach program federally funded by the US Department of Education. Upward Bound is designed to serve high school students who are low income and of the first generation to matriculate to college. We provide advising and academic services throughout our students' four years in high school to prepare them to get into the college of their choice. During the summer, we provide an extensive program that includes a residential component in the college dorms, classes for enrichment, and workshops geared toward social entrepreneurship.
