UFCW 3000 is seeking an experienced applicant with excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills to join the UFCW 3000 Communications Department. We are seeking an applicant with experience in videography and video editing to assist our team in telling the stories of our membership and movement. The Communications Organizer will support internal and external organizing campaigns and help take on day-to-day communications projects, help build digital and physical assets, assist with materials production, and help manage electronic outreach to members. This position will require the applicant to be able to work independently and as part of a team and be comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines at once. The Communications Organizer will need to occasionally work in the field at events, bargaining sessions, or at worksites. Some experience with design and production is preferred.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Job Location: The UFCW 3000 Seattle Office is located in the Labor Temple in Georgetown but travel between UFCW 3000 offices is not unusual. Events with our membership and allies throughout the Puget Sound region, across Washington State, and sometimes into North Idaho or NE Oregon may require in-person attendance. We have a large print shop infrastructure in our Seattle office that the Communications Department uses regularly.
Salary / Benefits: Annual Salary range of $74,984.00 to $112,008.00; This position is part of a Collective Bargaining Agreement with membership in PNWSU.
