The job

Join Lutheran Services in America and work directly with some of the country’s largest nonprofits. The position offers an exciting blend of program design, relationship management, and project management responsibilities. The successful candidate will have experience in independently managing projects, strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for empowering non-profit leaders across the country. 

 

What you’ll do

·       Lead member outreach for educational opportunities, webinars, learning cohorts and events working with the practice leads in Children, Youth and Family and Older Adult Initiatives with a focus on addressing the population health and social service needs of vulnerable populations

·       Project manage event planning and execute program logistics as needed 

·       Write program profiles and other web content to promote member outreach

·       Coordinate CEO and C-Suite outreach and maintain member database 

·       Working with senior management identify opportunities to strengthen Lutheran Services in America programs and create meaningful opportunities for mutual learning and collaboration across the network.

·       Support corporate partner development, engagement and outreach.

 

What we are looking for:

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills  

·       Strong organizational skills and the ability and desire to juggle several tasks simultaneously

·       Project management experience, and the ability to organize and lead projects independently

·       Database experience a plus

·       Demonstrated relationship management skills working with a diverse group of stakeholders a plus 


Experience: 3-6 years relevant experience in nonprofit, healthcare, foundation, research institute, membership organization or equivalent experience.

 

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Health Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field.
